A ballistic vest is an item of body armor that helps absorb the impact and reduce or stop penetration to the torso from firearm-fired projectiles and fragmentation from explosions.
Body shield armor protects you by slowing the bullet down and dispersing that energy over a wider area of the bulletproof vest. It does that by using layers of man-made fabrics. These vests can also be worn over the top of your clothing.

Soldiers, law enforcement, and security personnel widely use military tactical Bulletproof vests. A tactical vest is a heavy-duty vest that can be worn over regular clothing. Body shield protects the vital organs of the body besides giving way to carry gear when on assignment.
What are bomb blankets?
Bomb blankets or blast blankets aim to protect from explosions and high-velocity fragmentations resulting from an explosion. They can be used in two ways: they can protect minesweepers from explosions of bombs they attempt to unarm. Alternatively, a bomb blanket can also be used to contain the explosion itself and prevent serious damage to people.
Bomb blankets are made of multiple layers of fiber materials such as Kevlar or Aramid. Their main purpose is to greatly reduce the damaged area, not to prevent or eliminate the explosion.
